That's a well written article, Pennz, I enjoyed reading that.

The more time we spend in New Capital City then the more
one comes to realise just how long this city has been waiting
for real updates to come along, it's not just been a long time
waiting any more, in gaming terms it's been almost a lifetime.
Sure, we had recent updates of the game engine so to speak
but that was an accident when they lost our code and were
forced to patch this place back up again. Talking of lost code,
that brings me onto one of your points in this article... We
have an inactive cross bearer who instead of spending time
working online for the city's benefit, prefers to make cameo
appearances and forum adverts flogging second hand motor
bike helmets at prices that would fleece the richest of us here.
If he was a politician it would be interesting to see his expenses bill)

So, yeap, we ran out of garlic in the shop and suddenly joining
a guild became a very fashionable pastime then we had some
accidental updates and we all got used to seeing everything in
Russian again for a while until Lord of Metal[21] sorted out the
translation work. All good and fine, then came the new Alchemists
who have the ability to sell us ECR but not the ability to supply
the advertised FC services such as T-shirts and artefacts or
anything at all in fact, in fact the only thing that was possible to
do with this ECR except from upgrading existing t-shirts was to
convert it into credits so that we could pay off old debts, buy scrolls
or pay mental prices for those bloody second hand motorbike helmets
again. Maybe this is part of the plan? Eventually the sale of these
items will generate enough income by getting people buying ECR
to convert into credits in order to pay the current asking price of
10,000 credits for a Russian but otherwise quite ordinary level[8]
item. Once they've made a few million dollars profit then perhaps
we will see some new items and equipment in our shops but in the
meantime what the hell is so difficult in giving back to the
Alchemists their power of intercity teleportation? or opening the
post office network? People have pets to feed, you know and those
tattered old smash sets are wearing a bit thin along with our patience...

The new auto-fight bot system project currently under development
is an admirable and needy step forward for keeping lonely
level[0] newbies company in their early stages of the novice
room and at the moment it is nearly the only way out of that
room for most of them with an average attention span however
they're not likely going to stay interested for very long or buy
ECR if the shops and services are not kept up to date. It's
catch 22 but someones going to have to make a move sooner
or later....Pennz, don't be surprised if you wake up one day
and we find ourelves transferred to another city...it might be the
only way we'll ever get to really go shopping, after visiting
Madbaw in the Jail of course, let's just hope that it's not a
Paladin behind the sales counter, not an English speaking one
anyway, and if he try's to flog us any motorbike helmets we'll
show him what a f....... football is instead.

I bet you made this post in no time - most of us concider this to be art. To be able to create something readworthy with words and you surely do got that gift.

You and me both belong to the part of this game, probably favoured by admins, who spend real money in this game.
We realize that money we spend in here are for two reasons - for our own benefit but equally much to show the game developers our appreciativeness in the only way they notice.

My point is only that the game developers are missing out some nice cash by not offering us those items them selves.
